Oliver Winery, the 28th largest winery in the US and a national, best-selling brand is seeking a driven and dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to join our in-house marketing team. This is a rare opportunity to work with a major beverage industry player. Play a pivotal role in the success of our brand and the company by leading strategy, execution, and thought leadershipfor our digital landscape.  

 

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of strategic online initiatives, managing marketing campaigns from concept to implementation and analysis. This role partners with marketing leadership to achieve results that align with the winery's big-picture strategic goals. The Digital Marketing Manager develops strategies within the digital space, then executes and evaluates to keep them fresh and effective. Scope of digital landscape at Oliver Winery includes: paid and organic social media, programmatic advertising, website and blog, search engine optimization, and email marketing.

  • Adaptable Contributor. You show a blend of strategic thinking and creative leadership, with above-average writing skills, an eye for design, and the ability to use analytics to inform action at each stage of the marketing funnel. 

  • Channel Owner. You will manage and cultivate Oliver Winery's social media presence (e.g.Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and customer experience channels such as TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp). 

  • Brand Champion. You will proactively collaborate with colleagues across the company to advance the brand and develop an integrated content strategy to bring awareness to the brand in the digital space.  

  • Data Lover. The thought of a strategic, data-driven approach is exciting! You are comfortable working with marketing analytics and reports, with the ability to extract insights andplan for the future 

  • Strategic Thinker. You enjoy developing and evaluating strategies based on data and research. Building insight-based audience targeting parameters to support paid digital campaigns, your objective is to grow online and in-store sales revenue, build brand awareness, and cultivate brand loyalty. 

  • Engaged Partner. You will manage relationships and expectations with key stakeholders and direct activities of digital vendors and digital media partners.Listen as much as you talk. Be respectful, friendly, and dependable. 

  • Lifelong Learner. Be curious and creative. The digital space is constantly changing, and you love to research new tools and trends. You will bring breakthrough practices to the winery's social media presence, making recommendations and bringing to life the best tools to reach our target audience.

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field and 5+ years relevant professional experience. or equivalent work experience.  

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and oral.  

  • Demonstrated experience building and executing complex marketing programs, reporting on results, and analyzing data/apply findings to strategic initiatives. 

  • Proven ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion, with strong attention to detail. 

  • Active presence on and experience managing social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X/Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads, etc.  

  • Fluency and well-rounded experience in:  

  • Marketing analytics and planning tools (e.g. Google Analytics/Tag Manager, Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI), Sprout Social)  

  • MailChimp or comparable email client and experience working within a website content management system (CMS) and constituent relationship management (CRM) platform.  

  • Working knowledge of photo prep, video and interactive image prep 

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) 

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Due to the nature of our business, must be over 21 years of age. 

 

Physical Demands/Work Environment:This position will have to spend long hours sitting. There may be visual or ergonomic strain due to computer use. It also requires extended periods of concentration and focus. The employee may also have to occasionally do some light lifting of supplies and materials. This job is in a winery/production setting that at times requires walking or standing for some period of time. 

Typical Schedule: Position is full-time, salaried. Due to the creative and collaborative nature of our work, this position is housed full-time on-site at Oliver Winery's Bloomington, Ind., headquarters. Remote work is possible, up to one day per week, with supervisor coordination. Weekend or evening work is occasionally required, with advance notice.
