Oliver Winery, 28th largest in the U.S., has a unique opportunity for an Industrial Maintenance Intern.  

The Industrial Maintenance Intern works alongside experienced facility mechanics and
performs work under the supervision and direction of the Director of Production. The internship
offers on-the-job training, job shadowing, and hands-on experience working with Industrial Maintenance
systems and equipment. The Industrial Maintenance Intern assists Facility/Maintenance staff with tasks such
as weekly & monthly PM inspections, organization of spare parts inventory and equipment information, and
learning/utilizing a CMMS.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs weekly and monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM) inspections.
• Reviews and updates all equipment information (including organizing physical manuals and
digital/electronic files).
• Performs hands on assistance with production equipment repairs.
• Works with Maintenance team to confirm and organize spare parts inventory.
• Learns Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and completes inspections via
CMMS.
• Learns and utilizes online equipment tracking software; assesses and reports out on performance.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The ideal candidate is a student who is interested in pursuing a Industrial Technology or Maintenance related
field.
• A valid driver's license and ability to be insured on winery vehicles.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and ability to learn Computerized Maintenance Management
System (CMMS).
• Ability to lift or move a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
• Due to the nature of our business, must be 21 years of age.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a physical job in a winery/production setting that will
require long periods of standing, walking, lifting, climbing ladders and the ability to observe others and the work
environment. This position may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid conditions, work near moving
mechanical parts, outdoor power equipment, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions.


Typical Schedule: This is a part-time internship with an expected schedule of approximately 10-15 hours per
week during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm). The internship is expected to last 14 weeks.
